So, I came to the conclusion over the weekend that I was going have to do the very low carb thing for a while to get my blood sugar back on track.  [info]punkmom and I are doing a "protein fast", which sounds like we're not eating protein but means exactly the opposite.  We settled on doing 4 days of mostly protein shakes/soups, and see how it goes. 

I have to admit that after today I feel loads better.  Instead of ending my day feeling completely wrung out, I actually felt like I still had some energy to spare, nay even a bit bouncy on the way home.  What a nice change!  I hate to admit it, but this is the first time I've noticed that much difference in just a few hours.  Means that my blood sugar is even more sensitive than it used to be, and that I simply cannot continue screwing around with it. 

Now, if I can just get back on the treadmill tomorrow...which depends greatly on whether or not I have jury duty tomorrow.  Call in between 11 a.m. and noon.
